Steve Sarvi Blog Day (Updated)

The Big E's picture

Tuesday, June 10th is the day that the Minnesota blogosphere comes together to help out Steve Sarvi. Please go to Steve's

and donate. I'll post here other bloggers posts about Steve here.

Steve Sarvi is the Kosovo and Iraq vet challenging Republican John Kline in MN-02. This district includes the southern Minneapolis and St. Paul suburbs, stretching from the Mississippi onto the plains southwest of the Twin Cities. This district has been turning blue. In 2006 Democrats took 6 state House seats to narrow our margin from 2 of 20 to 8 of 20 seats. After the special election victory for Kevin Dahle, Democrats now control 8 of the 12 Senate seats in the district.

Steve Sarvi is the former mayor and former city administrator who can call John Kline fiscally irresponsible.

He's the DFL candidate who held 14 town hall meetings in the first week of his campaign, 14 times more than Kline met with constituents in a whole year.

With the self-destruction of the Republican brand and their inability to fundraise nationally, John Kline cannot expect much help from the RNCC to bolster his campaign. This is the year to send Kline back to the private sector, but Steve Sarvi needs your help to do it.

Thanks Eric
