Grandpa McSame breaks campaign finance law
Last fall, Sen. John McCain agreed to abide by the rules for public financing of presidential elections. He had no other options. He couldn't raise enough to maintain his campaign and signing up for public financing guaranteed him a quick shot in the arm financially.
Of course, he has since backtracked. Now that he's the Republican nominee, Grandpa McSame will not be abiding the the legally binding contracts he's signed. His latest campaign finance reports show he has blown past the $54m limit.
