Why is Ron Erhardt attending DFL conventions?

It is very, very interesting. We shall see. Maybe a possible party switch after the election? Maybe talks to get Kevin Staunton to step aside for Erhardt? Maybe a possible endorsement for Staunton. Maybe just wants to check things out. Who knows.

Spoke to a woman from Erhardt's district that was only ticked off at the fact that the DFL recognized his presence. I thanked him for his courage and went back to work. He sure was there a long time though.

Nice work on Tinklenberg tonight...I laughed at either A: How surprised the question went to you, or B: Coming up with something diplomatic to say.

Great job on AM 950 guys...they ought to do what the righties do, give us bloggers a few hours of radio time on the weekends!

I'd like to see more bloggers on Air America (especially if I'm one of 'em!!!).

My problem with Tink is, well, several.

He's a lobbyist that's trying to deny who he is. There's nothing wrong with bein' a lobbyist; I got a real problem with "Well, I'm not because technically I don't have to register."

The "west range v. east range" taconite tailings explanation defies logic. What - everything east of, say, Main Street in Grand Rapids is 'bad', but everything WEST is OK??!?

I don't buy it.

I've exchanged several e-mails with my city administrator; he's talked to the head of Public Works; I'm going to do my damndest to make sure no taconite tailings are EVER used in this city.

Then there's "The Original Media Jackal", Wodele. I covered two conventions, and counted delegates. Wodele puts out a press release with numbers different than the noses I counted. So I called him up and asked him how he counted his noses - and that was the last I talked as the remainer was an ear-lashing about evil bloggers and how he wasn't gonna debate evil bloggers and how he was right and how he wasn't gonna discuss it with evil bloggers and...and...and...and I'm thinkin' "Hey - it was a simple question; and this is the response? See if I ever ask another question." I'm also thinkin' I now know why Jesse "The Mind" had so many problems with the media....

Then there was the "endorsement/support" issue, and his campaign manager promised to e-mail me something but didn't; instead she left a voice message saying she heard I "had a conversation" with Wodele and that I was completely "unprofessional."

I saved it; it's still on my phone.

Oh, and one last thing - I don't know how many times I've been in a room with El Tinklenberg; how many times I've ended up next to El Tinklenberg - and I've never had a conversation with him.

Maybe I should shower more, or what?

It would be dishonest to be a member of a political party that you disagreed with so much of the party platform...
...a real citizen of upstanding moral and ethical footing would have run as an independent... not wait until the party kicks you to the curb for your transgressions and backstabbing nature...
Erhardt is a coward! He belongs with the jackass DFL party.
