John Kline, republiCon
In the last election, John Kline received the Pioneer Press endorsement (thanks, Craig - NOT) and promptly blew off the next three publicly scheduled events. Especially egregious of these was the Goodhue County Veterans Forum at the VFW in Zumbrota. Even more egregious was Mike Osskop's treatment of the truth. But most egregious of all was John Kline's reason for blowing off the veterans: he had to pick up a PAC check.
It never ceases to amaze me how republiCons can look people straight in the eye, and then lie through their teeth. Make no mistake, Mike Osskop is lying through his teeth in this video.
Watch the video, and watch where Osskop tries to claim Kline got a zero rating from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) over "one vote."
Say, Mike? BULLSHIT.
The truth is out there, at the DAV Voting Record
If watching this video upsets you; if watching Mike Osskop trying to bullshit the veterans because John Kline had a PAC check to pick up upsets you, send some money - RIGHT NOW - to Sergeant Sarvi.

Oh - and here's an example of the difference between a Republican, and a republiCon, as I wrote back in January:
When activists protesting the occupation of Iraq conducted “sit ins” in all of Minnesota’s congressional offices, Congressman Ramstad’s staff treated them courteously, listened to them, and even provided coffee and other refreshments. Kline called the cops. The difference cannot be starker: Congressman Ramstad seeks to govern by the consent of the people – he is a Republican; Kline seeks to rule by the force of government – he is a republiCon.
John Kline has got to go. Go and give to ActBlue-Sergeant Sarvi and help make that happen. If you really want to support the troops, you can do exactly that by helping to throw John Kline out.

TPT, thanks for pointing out
TPT, thanks for pointing out that all Republicans are not crooks and liars. We disagree over policies. Elected officials represent the people who live in their districts by talking and listening to them. This means officials of every party. We are reclaiming representative democracy in America.
Why, thank you, Maryellen!
Just as the vast majority of those in the Democratic Party are fine, upstanding, law abiding people that love their communities and their country, the vast majority of those in the Republican party are fine, upstanding, law abiding people that love their communities and their country.
Someday, I'm hoping that real Republicans reclaim their party from those who run it now, as they - for the most part - are neither Republican nor conservative.
