Mountain West Research Survey
Sometimes surveys can be "push" surveys, where they seem to be pushing an idea. This survey just seemed just poorly worded. The questions were state specific and they knew my name, just not my Congressional Representative. The person reading the questions did not enunciate well and could not pronounce Pawlenty at all. The survey asked about a favorable scaling on McCain, Obama, Pawlenty, Coleman, Franken, Klobuchar, Ciresi, my "representative" and National Rifle Association.
Do I style myself a Democrat(other choices) and what chance was there of me voting? My family laughed in the background. It sounded like a Republican survey because Republicans were first and they used phrases like "too liberal for mainstream values". They asked about change vs experience, division, the abortion question, pensions, education, renewable resources, Iraq, tax breaks, health care, 95% McCain vote for Bush, tax cuts, privatizing social security, education. Note that there were no questions about torture, FISA, civil rights, law or impeachment. They wanted categorize me or my family by ethnicity, faith, employment, education, owning a gun, having a close family member in the service and a few other questions. The person said he was calling from Mountain West Research, from Orin(spelling?), Utah. What do you think?
I am guessing National Rifle Association is setting up for an independent campaign. Anyone else get called?
