Laurie Coleman Dumps Norm
Yep – she sure did. With little fanfare, and absolutely no publicity that I could find. I’m not sure exactly when Laurie dumped Norm; but I know it was quite recent and I found out about it quite by accident. You see, I was talking to a friend; discussing how republiCons in general - and Senator Smokescreen in particular - never admit to doing anything wrong. Ever. But, Laurie dumping Norm like she did, is proof somebody done something wrong…
So, I’m tellin’ my pal how Laurie Coleman shamelessly hypes her senatorial hubby to sell her hair dryer thingy, and he shoots back: “dude – what are you talking about”? “Hey (I say) - it’s right there, on www.bloandgo.com ; Laurie Coleman shamelessly shillin’ her senatorial hubby, ol’ Smokescreen himself – it’s right there, on her website!!!”
Well, it was. “was” – as in “used to”. Here’s what it used to say:
Except, now, it doesn’t say that, as my pal pointed out.
All that highlighted stuff, up there?
It no longer says that, here: www.BloAndGo.com
It used to, but now it doesn’t. Why not? Why is Laurie no longer shamelessly shilling her senatorial hubby? Did ol’ Smokescreen figure out that his wife shamelessly shilling him isn’t exactly “senatorial”? Was it Norm that figured out having Laurie shill Norm might not send the proper signal; might not show proper senatorial decorum? Or, might have a staffer - a staffer with a good sense of where the electoral winds are blowing - figured it out? Just a few months ago, a staffer was quoted in The Washington Post, thusly: Press secretary LeRoy Coleman (no relation) confirms that the senator is "indeed proud of his wife and proud of the product."
These days, not so much? So, I’m left wondering: just what caused Laurie to dump Norm?
Those are all good questions; questions I’ll try to get answers for. Be that as it may, the answer to the question, gentle readers of “so why didn’t Norm step ‘right’ up, and admit he’s done wrong?” is “that’s just something republiCons in general, and Norm in particular, just don’t do”.

hyperbole
C'mon, Two-putt, you set up a headline making me hope Norm's headed for divorce court, and all you deliver is edited Blo'N'Go text? I don't call that dumping. I call that attempting to disassociate a senator with something everybody, including me, likes to make fun of.
Way to break my post-Franken-endorsed heart. I'm looking for stuff that will REALLY make plain folks dump Norm off their ballot. This little morsel won't cut it. Keep looking though - we have a whole state that need to Dump Norm.
gotta go blow dry my hair - oops, I forgot, I don't own a blow dryer.

Call into Washington Office to Confirm
I did call Senator Norm Coleman's office to ask if this was indeed fact, they routed me around and finally I left a message on an answering machine. So just to let you all know, I am trying to confirm. I also may never be called back.
Splitting would be the right thing to do
Hey Two Putt, I like your scuttlebutt, it sure sounds believable to me. Still, I await confirmation....
Now those two, who don't live together, who only show up in public together for a Norm photo op or campaign commercial, may not belong together. Splitting up may have been (if it really happened) an act of honesty and a final late try to reclaim one's soul. Good for her! (If it happened....)
This is funny!LOL.You will
