Smokescreen And Abramoff's Money
My point connecting Norm Coleman to Jack Abramoff isn't Abramoff influencing Coleman; it isn't the dough Abramoff gave Coleman; it's Coleman turning a blind eye to The Abramoff Scandal while ol' Smokescreen chaired the Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI).
The mission of the Senate's PSI is to uncover fraud in government, and clearly that's what The Abramoff Scandal was all about. And we'll get into that later in this campaign; what I'm interested in finding out now is what did Coleman do with the dough Abramoff directly gave Coleman?
It was reported, by MSNBC, that Coleman was going to either give the $3000 Coleman took from Abramoff to charity, or return it (MSNBC).
So I just left a message for Mark Drake, at ColemanForSenate, what the story is. Did Coleman return it, or give it to charity? If a charity, which one?
Stay tuned.
