Shawn Hamilton in the Blaine's Blazin' 4th Parade

This is Shawn Hamilton, running for Blaine's House Representative, at the end of Blaine's Blazin' 4th Parade, still looking ready to go. A regular energizer bunny. The weather turned out to be perfect. A whole crew of wonderful folks showed up to help.

Shawn will also be out doorknocking all the time, so he should become a warm familiar face all over Blaine!

Shawn Hamilton was having a great time meeting everyone at todays Blazin' 4th Parade!

And El Tinkleberg was out there greating everyone. They ran out of stickers before the end of the parade.

A wonderful crew of volunteers, greeted everyone on both sides of the road with candy and stickers. After this shot, there many green shirts in among the watchers.

Many people were taking stickers, it was a sea of green with an occasional cold look. Once I started taking pictures, so many wanted to be in the shots. Sorry adults, the kids mostly won out!

I think one of these guys will be Blaine's new mayor, they were so politically savvy and definitely ready to be political stars.

And these guys really know how to put together a picture.

And where was Shawn during all of this, shaking more hands!

The parade was fun, especially the pride taken in bald guys. Note the same pose on the gentleman and the van. I love Blaine humor.

And even though this is not an election year, Senator Betzold was out there being visible and his normal wonderful self!

The police were ready for anything. The gentleman police officer said that the command center was set up and used when the tornado touched down in Blaine. Blaine is in the heart of tornado alley. It was really nice to see something good come out of all the terrorism fear.
