The Working People of Democratic Party versus the Privileged Few of the Republican Party
The last convention did not in anyway resound to my heart. This convention, the Democratic Party as a whole is finally using the correct themes. This particular line sums the differences between Democrats and Republicans nicely.

Next week here in St Paul we will have the convention of privileged few. The highlight will be the most privileged Senator John McCain, who by his words admits that he did not do well in school and who did even behave well in school. Senator McCain despite those grades became an airplane pilot rated subpar who lost five planes. He was known to party and drink heavily. Even now, Senator McCain is so privileged that he can't remember how many homes he owns. And Senator Hillary Clinton summed up the effect of that privilege on Senator McCains view of the world and policies.
Now, with an agenda like that, it makes perfect sense that George Bush and John McCain will be together next week in the Twin Cities, because these days they're awfully hard to tell apart.(APPLAUSE)

The very privileged John McCain is very out-of-touch with working people!
Earlier, Representative Dennis Kucinich was the very embodiment of fired up! Representative Kucinich does a great job point out the marketing lies that we have all been told!
Wake up America, the insurance companies took over health care.
Wake up America, the pharmaceutical companies took over drug pricing.
Wake up America, the speculators took over Wall Street.
Wake up America, they want to take your Social Security.
Wake up America, multinational corporations took over our trade policies, factories are closing, good paying jobs lost.
Wake up, America. We went into Iraq for oil. The oil companies want more. War against Iran will mean $10 a gallon gasoline.
The Oil Administration wants to drill more --into your wallet.
Wake up, America. Weapons contractors want more. An Iran war will cost five to ten trillion dollars. This Administration can tap our phones. They can’t tap our creative spirit.
They can open our mail. They can’t open economic opportunities.
They can track our every move. They lost track of the economy while the cost of food, gasoline, and electricity skyrockets.
They skillfully played our post-911 fears and allowed the few to profit at the expense of the many.
Everyday we get the color orange, while the oil companies, the insurance companies, the speculators, the war contractors get the color green.
Wake up America.

And PBS was covering this, so at least one major network had the truth on for a change. WOW!
