Today's Examples Of republiCon Hypocrisy

Over on Michael Brodkorb's MinnesotaDemocratsExposed, he's got a video where "college Republicans" are asking if a joke that never made TV is "funny".

Ladies and gentlemen, let's be clear: that "joke" never made it to camera, it was never shown on TV. It was discussed at a backstage writing session where nothing was sacred - that's where satire is created - that's what satire is. For satire, a lot of stuff that is WAY over the top and WAY out-of-bounds is discussed - and that over-the-top stuff never makes it out of the session. Unless, of course, some republiCon political hacks resurrect it and spin it for partisan political gain.

But what has made it to film, and is on YouTube, is John McCain joking about entering his Wife Numero Dos into a "beauty pageant" at Motorcycle Week at Sturgis. Here's that YouTube:

Now, there's some video of the 2007 version of the "beauty pageant" McCain joked about putting Wife Numeros Dos into, in a YouTube entitled "Bikini Beauty Pageant at the Buffalo Chip". This one is not for those easily embarrassed by overt sexual innuendo; there's scenes with a banana that apparently McCain thinks is funny as he joked this is the "beauty pageant" his wife just might "win."

Here's that YouTube, but before you watch it: you've been warned...

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me be very clear - republiCons have a BIG problem and mercilessly rip Al Franken for a 1995 writer's session and a joke that NEVER made it to TV, but have no problemo with Serial Adulterer John McCain joking about entering Wife Numeros Dos into a sleazy strip-contest. Don't be surprised; the hypocrisy of the GreedOverPrinciples Party is astounding.

Here's another reason: When Edwards finally admitted to having an affair, republiCons went ballistic. Here's a video of a Faux Fox News Talking Head trying to make a big deal out of the affair, while the interviewee keeps trying to talk about stories people actually care about - you know, "issues"....

Now, watch what happens on Faux Fox's "Hannity And Colmes" when Colmes has the audacity - audacity! - to bring up McCain's adultery, while the RightWingNuts are riping on Edward's adultery:

Amazing, isn't it? Sean Hannity's moral indignation at Edward's indefensible infidelity, followed by Hannity's outrage over Allan Colme's comparing Edward's infidelity to McCain's infidelities. And yes, "infidelities" - as in "plural".

As usual, republiCons want it both ways; Edwards held to account and McCain excused and given a free-pass.

Ladies and gentlemen, these two examples clearly demonstrate the hypocrisy of the GOP; clearly demonstrates why GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples.

Very nice, Tommy. Especially

Very nice, Tommy. Especially that whole bit about Franken's joke never actually having been made. Sheesh; have these guys never had a brainstorming session before?

Republicans: punishing you for your thoughts since 2008.

There is a reason

they have never had a brainstorming session,

lack of a brain!

More of the same

When they can't stand on their record, the Republicans and their paid "mouthpieces" have nowhere to go but into the gutter. Gee, I wonder if Coleman has ever told an off color joke....I've met waitresses in St. Paul that would never wait on him again....you figure out why?

Lemme guess -

ol' Smokescreen treated 'em like they were staffers?

"I never thought I'd see the day I'd miss Richard Nixon."

Any chance of interviewing them?

This is the chance of documenting what we all know.
