Republican AP Starts Releasing Bad News Stories

AP obviously sat on the story about melanine until after the election. The fact that melanine was in our US food supply has been reported by me, at this very site since April 11, 2007. So basically all the Republican owned corporate news sources are now going to be reporting all the bad news that they should have been constantly reporting, now that it can't hurt Republican election chances.

Traces of the industrial chemical melamine have been detected in samples of top-selling U.S. infant formula, but federal regulators insist the products are safe....

Melamine is the chemical found in Chinese infant formula — in far larger concentrations — that has been blamed for killing at least three babies and making at least 50,000 others ill....

The three firms — Abbott Laboratories, Nestle and Mead Johnson — manufacture more than 90 percent of all infant formula produced in the United States.

Basically China gets a free pass because we need China to keep buying our US debt bonds. Ever notice how we now never talk of cancer prevention, just on about working on cancer cures. Melanine is "singing canary" of a much larger problem. Note that we have many description deaths of unknown causes like "Sudden Infant Death" in babies. The coverup could be much more widespread than we currently know.

On April 11, 2007 I reported that the same company that produced the melanin poisoned wheat was producing wheat gluten for human consumption:

Xuzhou Anying Biologic Technology Development Co. Ltd poisoned pets according to an FDA memo. The Xuzhou company also produces "wheat gluten, wheat flour, cornstarch, sweet potato starch, and other agricultural and sideline products" including "edible flour" according to its website. Very few reports are out there considering that this implies the same source has products used in human consumption. "FDA regulators said they have no evidence suggesting that the melamine has affected products intended for human consumption." reports the Bloomberg Report. Wheat gluten and wheat flour is a generic ingredient in food. Yet I am not reading any journalism stories or FDA reports about if any other wheat/food product from this same region are being tested or if any other companies or foods used this poisoned wheat gluten. I am not hearing of any intensive investigations that I would expect. So how do we know if our food is safe?

And then little noticed reports came out that showed that common practices like a widely used pesticide in China was causing the melanine in food products. While there were even Spinach news scares from natural elements, there were no melanine poison news scares.

What if the melamine is actually the normal by product of a widely used pesticide, like Cyromazine, in China and therefore likely to be in most Chinese food products?

That would explain why melamine was reported to be found in corn gluten in South African. South Africa has now banned gluten Products from China. Yet we hear little here. The reason could be as simple as the fact that we sold so much US bond debt to China, that we are afraid of recession if we make China mad enough to sell bonds. MSM money reports approximately half of this country's debt is held outside the United States, primarily by China, Japan and Southeast Asian nations.

So just on the basis of what I knew and reported, the AP could reported much more and much sooner!
