Television Ads

While this is primarily for television ads, I've included YouTube videos as well. You can find the YouTube vids after the TV ads.

Norm Coleman has released another campaign ad. Gird your loins and get your vomit bag handy.
Norm is to making a difference for Minnesotans what Heckuva Job Brownie is to competent disaster relief. Norm is to bridging the partisan divide what Karl Rove is to bi-partisanship. Norm is to not tearing things down what Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were to John Kerry. As a bonus, here's a great pic of Norm from the vid ... flattering ... wouldn't ya say?

Transcript (with stammering):

Alliance for a Better Minnesota released an ad criticizing Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN) for helping out the oil industry with billions of dollars in tax breaks while they made massive profits jacking up our oil prices. They have helped him out with $210,000 in contributions to his reelection campaign.
(9/7/07) Americans Against Escalation in Iraq have a new ad targeting Norm.
(8/23/07) Read more about Neocons targeting Republicans whose support for the Iraq Occupation they think might be weakening.
Norm Coleman: With friends like these, part II
(8/3/07) As if Norm needed just the Democrats piling on reminding voters that he supports the war, now some dim bulbs who supposedly support Norm are thanking him for supporting the war. As a DFLer, I'd like to thank Vets for Freedom for reminding voters that Norm despite his waffling has always been strongly supporting George Bush's occupation of Iraq.
(7/10/07) Americans Against Escalation in Iraq are rolling out an ad targeting Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN) to confront him over his continued support of George Bush's occupation of Iraq.
(2/4/07): Vote Vets ran this ad during the Super Bowl:
YouTube and other online vids
(12/3/07) Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN) has attacked potential opponent Al Franken with a web video. He points out Franken's switch from for to against the Iraq War. That Norm would attack an opponent is expected. That Norm would attack an opponent this far out for the second time is unexpected. Norm is rightfully scared enough to attack the man he expects to face twice in the year before the election.
It is also ironic that Norm would call out Al for flip-flopping on this issue when Norm has flip-flopped 12 times on important issues and 8 of them were just this year.
